I would like to hang some Suet for the birds, but the squirrels get more it than the birds do. Is there any way that I can squirrel-proof the suet so that the birds get it instead ? We have more grey squirrels this year, here in Maine, that I have seen in all my 73 years.

Pure Beef Suet with no seeds or Hot Pepper suet deters most animals but still attracts a wide variety of woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, and wrens.

There are also a lot of Squirrel proof feeders. I suggest you go to your local bird food store for more help.
