Cheryl Connell-Marsh has a special touch.
She even took a little extra time with our
resident cat JB when he had a minor stroke.
She let him sniff her hand to give him
“wild” dreams during his recovery.
The arrival of two orphaned black (color hybrid) red fox kits required the construction of a new outdoor release pen. Although they had a tragic start in life, the foxes brought a special magical energy to the sanctuary.
The Nature Nook is a non-profit charity with a 511(c)(3) status from the IRS. While many of our kind Wild Birds Unlimited customers have already donated money, more funds are still required to maintain the animals that have to overwinter. Shelter for birds that missed their time to migrate south, extra food supplies for other animals and the fox that are in the den need more help.
Donations can be sent directly to Nottingham Nature Nook, 16848 Towar Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823
or dropped off in the donation can at Wild Birds Unlimited, East Lansing store.
